RapidRun

RapidRun is a fast, complete, modular A/V cabling system for wiring ANY room for almost ANY situation. With RapidRun it is so seamless to install the cable infrastructure you need to display audio/video where you need it. HDMI, VGA, component video - all are ideal for RapidRun!

RapidRun makes installation easy. Simply install a runner cable that you can pull through the wall, and then connect with source and display terminations on each end of the runner. The source's audio/video signal travels through the runner and displays on the display monitor or screen.

Read the Brochure or Watch the Video!

Versatility - For analog video, choose any source signal: component video, composite video, s-video, or VGA with/without audio, etc. and then choose any display termination: component video, composite video, s-video, or VGA with/without audio, etc. - and they can be different for each termination! For digital video, choose HDMI or DVI at either OR both ends - for transmission up to 100 feet!

Save Time and Money - A Florida school district needed to QUICKLY install video projectors and multimedia equipment for 900 - 1,000 large classrooms. They slashed installation time by 75% - from 2 hours per classroom to 30 minutes! Read more.

Change Terminations in 1 Minute - One installer set up RapidRun for several classrooms only to be told to change the display terminations to match the new projectors the school district had bought. In just a few minutes, the classrooms were re-configured WITHOUT having to rip out wire!

Use RapidRun behind the walls of your classrooms, conference rooms, home theaters, hospital/doctor rooms, auditoriums, restaurants, digital signage, houses of worship, yachts, etc. - endless possibilities! Each flyer below explains how to use RapidRun for that particular situation.

Education

"Our company sells and installs projectors in schools. Typically we would mount the projector in a classroom and then run all the electrical wires necessary to power it. We rarely ever installed any of the audio/video cabling because it was complicated and required a lot of field termination. This is one of the reasons we decided to try your product. It happened to be the perfect solutions for us. By using RapidRun, we were quickly able to expand our business. Using our own people, who specialize in low voltage cabling, we are now able to include all of the audio/video cabling as part of the projector installation package. Recently, we completed a 30 classroom project in San Jose, CA. We mounted the projectors and our electrician was able to easily install RapidRun to satisfy all of the wiring demands and specifications. This product is truly an asset. It allows us to use less experienced employees and save about 20% to 30% of our installation time when compared to using bulk cable."

Healthcare

"I purchased RapidRun to connect a medical imaging system remote slave monitor at 75 feet. The Rapidrun system was ideal for our application. One end needed to be terminated as VGA and the other with 5-BNC leads. The cables had to be pulled through 2 inch conduit at 75 feet and into a cabinet. This system was much easier than pulling non-terminated cables and then terminating them. The time saved on installation was very important with a deadline for patient critical medical imaging equipment. RapidRun was exactly what we needed to complete the project in a timely fashion. The website configuration tool was very helpful in finding the exact cables that we were looking for. This tool enabled us to immediately find what we were looking for rather than browsing around the site."
Tony H., Florida

"We purchased the RapidRun system for business purposes. Our end users are medical practitioners that require an image (from a PC) to be displayed on a monitor that is mounted on the wall. The PC can be located anywhere in these rooms. We use your RapidRun cables to connect the PC to these monitors. Our installations techs could NOT be happier with these RapidRun products. RapidRun's ability to change signal types was not a concern because we use it for VGA only and changing termination types is something we do not need to do. But our installations are always under a tight schedule and the faster installation RapidRun allows us is a great plus. Although I did not need to use the Configurator when purchasing RapidRun, I did use it for my home installation and it worked GREAT. It made things a lot easier and I did not have to call our rep for help."

Home Theater

"I ran a RapidRun 35ft digital Runner cable and a 35ft home theater (5-coax) Runner cable from behind my A/V rack to my ceiling-mounted projector. I also installed the Wall Plates at both ends. It's nice to know that I won't have to run another cable for my projector again."
G. Gordon, Arizona

"We used RapidRun in our home to run video distribution to two rooms from a component switcher in a whole home audio/video distribution system. It has performed flawlessly and it saved hours of installation time. RapidRun's flexibility was important to our purchase decision because we were not sure at the time if we needed 3 or 5 RCA connections, and RapidRun allowed us to change if we needed to. The ability to quickly and easily install RapidRun was also attractive because it lowered our costs. The Configurator was great in helping us decide what parts we needed to purchase."
K. Steil, Florida

"I used RapidRun to wire all the rooms in my house so that I would be able to watch my centralized AV devices in many locations throughout the house. I bought different types of connections so that I can hook up my TVs according to what type of signal they accept. I have different TVs with different inputs, and as I change TVs, it is nice that I can simply change termination types to suit my needs. I also have an extra TV that I had not planned to have, but it is now in use. I can quickly unscrew the lead from 1 TV and screw it into the other TV. I plan on buying another distributor soon, so that I don't have to worry about this anymore.

Because I was remodeling my house, all the walls were completely exposed. Thus, the possibility of quick installation was not the main reason I purchased RapidRun because the installation would have gone fast anyway. The quality of the cables played a much more important role in my decision to purchase RapidRun.

I shop Cables To Go because it has more of the products that I need. I saw your company at CES last January, and I was introduced to the RapidRun line there. You also have long cables of all types that allow me to situate devices (A/V, computers, etc.) wherever I want them to go. This is very handy because I am in the process of moving my computers to a remote location in the house so that my office isn't so cluttered. I will be buying the cables that I will need from you, plus I will also be buying more cables and equipment for my AV needs as they arise."
D. Powell, New Jersey

"I purchased RapidRun HT Runners with Component Video Flying Leads for an installation at home of an extended run (25-35ft) of component video. I especially liked the way it pulled during installation. RapidRun Digital's easier and more consistent terminations were the deciding factor for me in deciding to purchase this system. The ability to quickly change termination types was also very important to me. I normally shop you online, the biggest reason being that most of what I need is in stock and will be delivered next day."
M. Wendt, Michigan

Conference Rooms

"We used RapidRun to wire the video feed for a VGA projector in a conference room from the ceiling mount to a wall plate to connect a computer. The ability to fish through cable without the VGA connector attached and the fact that we could connect multiple sources played roles in our decision to purchase RapidRun. The cable configurator helped because it made sure that we had two ends and a cable. It was reassuring to have the tool to make sure we had everything we needed...We could not find these types of cables anywhere else."
Sean M., Illinois

Houses of Worship

"Our RapidRun cables, as well as the one I purchased previously, are being used in our church to send media and video camera signals to a projector and 2 HDTVs. While the ease of installation is very nice, the fact that I can change pigtails and use the same cable in another application was my main reason for purchasing. The RapidRun product page made it easy enough to figure out what I needed and I was happy with my shopping experience."
Rodd L., California

"We purchased RapidRun HD15 (UXGA) with Break-Away Flying Leads for Crossway Church. This was used for a permanent install run from our display computers in the Front of House position to our rear-screen projector setup in the front of the sanctuary. The cable has performed incredibly well as it is a long run and there are no typical cable-length artifacts visible in the image. The quick termination feature meant that I could go with a high quality cable without having to terminate the ends manually. It also gives me future proofing. If we move or change projectors or display equipment, I can change the termination on either end of the cable without having to lose length or manually install different connectors. Despite already knowing what cable and termination I needed, your configuration tool made it easier to add the right items to my shopping cart. Your shopping experience was incredible."
Tom B., Tennessee

"I purchased RapidRun cables to run video to a projector in our church. The product is great. It was very easy to install and connect with the RapidRun Break-Away connectors. You had multiple lengths and styles which made my job easy. Quick termination features and easy installation were major factors in my decision to purchase RapidRun. I was able to connect S-Video with Composite and Component with one cable when I otherwise would have to run multiple cables. Plus, I had to cross twice as little thru the church ceiling and basement to install the cables. I loved the Configurator tool because it told me what connectors and cables I needed and I just clicked add to order. It was very simple and fast, an excellent idea. Technical support chat was outstanding and the products are premium. Thanks guys, keep it up and I will be buying more for sure."
J. Leskiv, Ohio

"We have a video projection system in our sanctuary which projects signals from a television camera, DVD player, VHS player, and a computer. We used your RapidRun cables to connect two 24" LCD Televisions in our Foyer area so the signals that are playing in the sanctuary can be sent to these two televisions. Through an Extron switcher we can send any of the above mentioned signals to either or both of the TV sets. Many times these TV sets show digital signage containing announcements and greetings. During the services these two TV sets show the television image of what is going on in the sanctuary. We were very happy with the RapidRun concept because it allowed us to snake the cable through several tight places without worrying about the ends. Once we had the cable pulled we were able to put the appropriate ends on the cable. I especially liked the ring that allowed us to tie our snaking string to it. It made for a cleaner and more efficient install. We have not yet, but intend to use the ability to change the termination types in the future. This was a determining factor in our purchase decision as we are going through technology renovations and did not want to have to pull another cable if our technology changes in our FOH position. We used your Configurator tool to help make the choice of cables we needed. Although I could have probably easily chosen the proper cables, it is always nice to have a tool that can quickly accomplish it and I loved it. I like the ability to use your website to design and configure my cabling needs. The information I need is there. I don't have to look through pages of catalogs. I also like the unique solutions you offer. As we continue in our building project I intend to continue to use you as a source for special need cable and other solutions."
I. Cornwell, Pennsylvania

"My company recently completed a Church Audio and Video installation in North Georgia where we used Rapid Run products to connect both projectors back to our video headend. There is not only one great thing about Rapid Run-THERE ARE SEVERAL. The ease of installation and the quickness of connectivity make this product the new superstar in our vendor line. I began preaching the Rapid Run story about 3 months ago and since then our sales force has found it to be a great selling point and our field technicians have praised it for how easy it is to work with. I would like to give kudos to Rapid Run for creating a great all-around product for our industry. I plan on using it whenever and wherever I can."
J. McCutcheon, Tennessee

Other Applications

"I've used RapidRun for running Video/Sound on a 35 foot sailboat. The product has worked great. It allows for a remote flat panel display to be connected to the navigation computer for entertainment purposes. Having the smaller terminals on the cable made the runs much easier and required less modifications to the boat. Faster installation played a slight role in our purchase decision, but less modification to structural bulkheads and stringers for cable runs was more important."
Lauren B., Washington

"I purchased RapidRun Digital system for use in my home theater. I used the Digital Runner to run from my wall mounted 42" Toshiba DLP TV to my Home Theater Receiver. I ran the Runner behind the wall which is why I preferred running a single line instead of multiple lines. The pull cap on the Runner is awesome and worked perfectly and exceeded my expectations in signal performance and ease of installation. I liked the fact that I had 2 different termination types at the ends and that I could configure them myself. The feature of faster installations was the key factor in my decision to purchase RapidRun Digital. Another factor was your company history. I have been a customer for quite a while and have been satisfied in the past, so I am aware of the good quality you stand behind. I also LOVE the feature of being able to quickly change termination types. I had used RapidRun analog runs previously for an installation on my boat to install a hi-def receiver, DVD, multiplexer and 2 LCD TVs, which I installed flawlessly. The changeable ends and termination types made the installs in the digital and analog cables very easy. I gotta tell ya, I'm a satisfied customer. Your website is good and easy to navigate. Parts arrive quickly and correctly picked from warehouse. I had to return a termination piece, as I had ordered the wrong one, and your customer service was top rate. I am 100% satisfied with your company and the products you sell and I frequently am referring others to your site."
T. Samosa, North Carolina

"We used RapidRun in conjunction with a VGA splitter/extender to display a CCTV DVR signal on a plasma television in an automobile dealership. The television was located in the president's office, approximately 150 feet from the DVR. Due to the fact that the cable had to be run across multiple rooms, as well as a service area, the ability to drag the RapidRun base cable with no connector on the end made the installation much faster. RapidRun's quick termination and other capabilities made the ordering process, as well as the installation process, much simpler."
J. Cioffi, Bergen Protective Systems
